Dr. Eide practices general dermatology with special interests in skin cancer and other skin disorders. She currently practices in Rapid City and Spearfish where she is committed to personally delivering and advancing evidence-based care for her patients. Before joining the Rapid City Medical Center in 2016, she spent eight years on the core dermatology clinical faculty at Wayne State University School of Medicine-Henry Ford Hospital. She has served on multiple committees for the American Academy of Dermatology including the Congressional Policy, Clinical Guidelines and Research, and Melanoma and Skin Cancer committees. She also has more than 40 published articles and book chapters.
Dr. Eide is a western South Dakota native and third-generation graduate of Newell High School. She grew up on her family farm and ranch near where her great grandfather’s homestead north of Nisland, South Dakota. She is devoted to her family which includes her husband and three sons. She is grateful to have the opportunity to practice medicine in the region where she was born and raised.
